Size Guide Breakdown

5' X 5'

A 5x5 unit offers 25 square feet, roughly the floor space of a walk-in closet. Compare this size with your boxes, seasonal belongings and small furniture. The right fit depends on item dimensions and how you arrange them.

Great for storing:

  • Small furniture or appliances
  • Office supplies, business records, and tax files
  • Garden tools, camping gear, or other seasonal decor and equipment
  • Old toys and offseason clothing

5' X 10'

A 5x10 unit offers 50 square feet. Compare this footprint with your furniture, boxed belongings or business inventory. Measure larger pieces and leave room to reach anything you will need during storage.

Great for storing:

  • Business materials, files, or inventory
  • Seasonal decorations and gear like snowboards and camping equipment
  • Bed sets, dressers, and side tables
  • Art pieces, musical instruments, and medium-sized appliances

10' X 10'

A 10x10 unit offers 100 square feet, roughly half the floor space of a standard garage. Compare your furniture, equipment and boxes with this footprint. A bedroom count alone does not establish that everything will fit.

Ideal for storing:

  • Furniture like sofas, tables, dressers, mattress sets, and coffee or nightstands
  • Electronics and musical instruments
  • Seasonal items such as garden tools, bicycles, skis, and camping gear
  • Office items including desks, chairs, and shelving

10' X 15'

A 10x15 unit offers 150 square feet. Compare this size when storing larger furniture, appliances and boxes. The space you need depends on your inventory, packing and how much room you want for access.

Great for storing:

  • Large household items like sofas, dining tables, dressers, bedroom sets, and bookcases
  • Major appliances, including washers, dryers, and refrigerators
  • Outdoor gear such as bicycles, skis, and camping equipment
  • Business inventory and office furnishings like desks, chairs, and shelving units

10' X 20'

A 10x20 unit offers 200 square feet and may suit a larger move or renovation project. Compare your furniture, appliances and boxes with the unit dimensions, and allow room for access. Confirm the selected unit's features and entrance before renting.

Great for storing:

  • Large household items like sectional sofas, dining tables, mattress sets, dressers, and entertainment centers
  • Major appliances including washers, dryers, and refrigerators
  • Big musical instruments and electronics, such as pianos and televisions
  • Outdoor gear such as bicycles, skis, and camping equipment
  • Business inventory and office furnishings like desks, chairs, and shelving units

10' X 30'

Our 10x30 drive-up units provide 300 square feet. Compare this option for a larger inventory of furniture, appliances, boxes or business equipment. Measure bulky items and confirm the unit entrance, features and current availability before renting.

Ideal for storing:

  • Items that are difficult to pack in boxes
  • Oversized furniture like sectional sofas, entertainment centers, and bedroom or dining sets
  • Major appliances including washers, dryers, and refrigerators
  • Outdoor gear such as bicycles, skis, and camping equipment
  • Business inventory and office furnishings such as desks, chairs, and shelving
